Chris Innis

Greentech Media has published a report that covers solar electric power purchasing agreements (PPA) in the US market. The report, which can be purchased from the web site www.greentechmedia.com looks at the fast growing market. The PPA market in the US has been boosted by tax incentives that need to be renewed this year. PPA's have lead to the tend that is bring solar power to rooftops in commercial buildings in the US where the report finds that two thirds of the installations are now third party managed.

The third party installation and management of solar facilities on buildings is a growing business but with structural changes, the report expects consolidation.
