Enersol Corporation has acquired Fuel Economy, a company perhaps better known by their core product 'Savastat', the highly effective boiler load compensation controller it developed in the early nineties. Enersol has been working closely with Fuel Economy as a strategic partner since late 2005 to integrate load compensation technologies with their product range and apply them to high consumption environments such as large building and large space heating. The results of long-term field trials carried out during 2006 have been consistent and impressive, with reductions ranging from 15% to 24%. Enersol CEO Jimmy Doogan explained that "Fuel Economy and Enersol are a perfect fit in so many ways. Having worked together for well over a year, the synergy between the two companies was obvious and so we eventually popped the question! Fuel Economy's boiler load compensation technology delivers immediate and substantial economies, and it fits perfectly with Enersol's philosophy that the first and most urgent item on the agenda is to stop wasting energy". Andrew Bowley of Fuel Economy said that "We have a range of strong and quietly successful retrofit products that deliver significant savings, and they are now going to be given the exposure and market reach they deserve under the umbrella of the Enersol brand. This acquisition makes perfect sense for us, and we're really excited about it and the prospect of developing and expanding the range of products and services with Enersol." Andrew Bowley will be joining the Enersol board as an executive director. For more information on Enersol go to www.enersolcorp.com
