New Appointment at Impax

Impax Group, the environmental investment company with over £1.25 billion funds under management and advisory has announced it has appointed Lee Clements as Investment Manager.

Lee will take a lead role in research and analysis for Impax's listed equity funds, Impax Environmental Markets plc, Impax Environmental Markets (Ireland), IFSL Impax Environmental Leaders and the Impax Absolute Return Fund.

Lee has extensive experience in the environmental markets from Nomura Private Equity and WHEB Ventures, leading deals across numerous environmental sectors including metals recycling, energy efficiency and sensors. Prior to moving into environmental markets he worked in corporate strategy at Lehman Brothers.

Ian Simm, CEO of Impax said: "Lee brings with him a deep analytical knowledge of the environmental sector and many years of financial experience. He will be a valuable asset to the Impax team and will help us further expand our expertise."
