Consultations on Proposed Changes to European Trading Scheme Begin

The UK Government has called for consultation and comments on the proposed changes to the European Union's ETS. The changes will take effect from 2013 and include amended targets for the reduction in emissions.

The consultation period which is intended to get stakeholders' views of the impacts of the changes on thir businesses closes at the end of July when all submissions need to be presented.
